Blogging has become a little harder for me to devote my time to, so I’m going to try twitter out to see if it’s more convenient and an equally deserving venue to spread my wisdom. ;) http://twitter.com/_AmyBrennan
MISERABLE
I don’t know what I did to my body to make it hate me so much, but this has seriously not been my month! First was the back and my inability to walk and now it’s a crappy cold! I can’t get anything done! I hate missing so much work and always feel guilty when I have to stay home, but after I was quarantined to the end of the table in my last meeting yesterday afternoon, I...

Kanye West
How can someone so annoying make such good music? I can’t stand to listen to this guy talk (I am sure I share this feeling with many)…yet, just bought his album last night. It’s good. It’s great. And Rick Ross is on at least 2 tracks. AHHHH THE IRONY! YOU WIN AGAIN KANYE!
HAPPINESS!
Today, I went to a bridal shower for a friend of Joel and mine. Possibly one of the kindest girls on the planet, Erica is calm, cool and collected. I did not know many people but as soon as I walked in, I was pointed towards the wine and “hard liquor”…awesome! Some time after Mike had already asked her parents if he could marry their daughter, they found out that they were...
Music is Seasonal
Can we all agree that some songs are better heard in the summer or winter? For me, most Beach Boys songs are best heard in the summer (duh)…EXCEPT for God Only Knows (which happens to be my all time favorite Beach Boys songs). Your Love is My Drug reminds me of L.A. and sunshine/summer. Songs like Crazy In Love and mostly all Kanye West songs (with the exception of all songs on the 808s...

1. Bed with matching jammies!!!2. A back-pack!3. Sleeping bag!!!
…but in all seriousness; a healthy treat would be all she really wants or needs! :)
The Holidays are here!
And the holiday season has begun with the 3rd annual Thanksgivin’ dinner at Carole’s house! We all contribute to the meal and end up having an awesome time. After dinner, we draw names for secret santa and put together wish lists. I am PUMPED about my secret santa gift receiver person…this will be a good one! We have a couple weeks until the Tacky Christmas party where we all...

KATE MIDDLETON!!! So gorgeous and a new fashion inspiration…I LOVE her clothes…especially for the fall and winter. Can’t wait to see a royal wedding. Someone’s going to have to break it to Prince Harry that Marissa’s taken, though…and unavailable to be his date. Suckerrrrrr You snooze you lose to another ginger!

Random Thought
I think that you can learn a lot about someone based on who they would pick to sing the soundtrack of their life. I was thinking about this based off of Melanie’s facebook status that said her pick would be Eddie Vedder. Good choice (despite his bogus political views), good choice nonetheless.
My top 5:
1. Fergie
2. Springstein
3. Jay-Z
4. Kelly Clarkson
5. Matt Nathanson

– -Look After You by The Fray
I’ve always loved this song but didn’t look up the lyrics until today…now I’m in love with it. This song has always reminded me of Joel…even before I met him, I would hear this song and think of a man just like him.
Inception--Only read if you've seen it--SPOILERS!
halphillips:
Inception is one of those movies people theorize about, so here’s my take. I have not read about it or looked it up except to check the characters’ names, so this is based solely on what I got from watching it. Needless to say, tremendous spoilers follow for those who have not seen it.

CONGRATS ANNA AND JAMES!!!
The day has come! Anna and James are engaged.:):):):):)
I will not post the details of the engagement here but rather have Anna be the one to tell you…I simply wanted to express my excitement that the day is finally here: one of my favorite couples of all time has decided to stay that way for the rest of their lives. Congratulations to the happy couple along with their little ones!...
Goodbye, Hills!
I would be lying if I said that I wouldn’t miss these girls! I remember sitting in Allyssa Margarita’s room in the tri-Sig house when we found out that our favorite girl from Laguna Beach was getting her own spin-off show. It totally does feel like you grew up with some of these people…especially during the times in your life when you were transitioning into your own person,...
Boats 'n ho's
Last weekend was a great little weekend in Baltimore. Friday night, my friend Kirby had her birthday party at The Stalking Horse in Federal Hill. (Side story: Joel does not like this bar because it has neon lights, plays trendy music, and attracts drunk girls and guy with tight tee shirts…so he decided to tell me it was a gay bar so we didn’t have to go in. This was months ago. ...

Bloggers in a blogging world
So my friend Emily recently got engaged…and she started a blog documenting her wedding planning process. Since I am a person of extremities, not only do I enjoy her blog, but now I am obsessed. It is filled with colors, flowers, dresses, venues, candles…ahhh! The best. I was recently quoted “if it’s not a baby or a wedding, I’m not looking at your album on...
